Teens are encouraged to read for the fun of it during TEEN READ WEEK from October 18-24. Stop by to grab a book and check out the contests, displays, book recommendations, and receive a small prize.
INDOOR BOOKNIC - Wed, Oct 21 from 3:30-5:00pm
Enjoy cider and donuts while talking to other teens about the books you love and those you love to hate. Refreshments generously donated by Demarest Farms.
Pizza & Pages - First meeting, Wed, Oct 28
We are pleased to announce PIZZA & PAGES, a new book club co-sponsored by the Hillsdale Public Library and George White Middle School. Students in 7-8 will meet once a month in the school’s media center during lunch to discuss a book. Pizza will be provided. Students may register at the public library or the school. Miyazaki Movie Marathon - Thurs, Nov 5 from 2:00-6:00pm There’s no school, so why not watch two animated movies by the Japanese master.
