Although Anglo, EL GRINGO learned to speak Spanish while working with Mexican vaqueros on his family's cattle ranch in El Paso. With Norteno/Ranchera music blaring on the truck radio, EL GRINGO would ask his vaquero friends to explain the lyrics to him, and he picked up the language over time. EL GRINGO grew to love this style of music and also developed a great appreciation for these hard working immigrants, whom he pays tribute to in his new song "El Corrido Del Gringo".
EL GRINGO, Norteno singer/songwriter, still at the very beginning of his career, is now reaching his first signs of success! One of his tunes, a love song entitled "Tocame", can be heard in the movie Quinceanera by Sony Pictures which was released nationwide in September 2006. The movie won the top prize at the famous Sundance Film Festival and is now available on DVD. "Tocame" is also on the movie soundtrack.
EL GRINGO is quickly becoming a fan favorite in his home state of New Mexico! His shows have become hot tickets with several sellouts thanks to the popularity of his music on local radio stations. His second CD, entitled "El Gringo", was recently recorded in Monterrey, Mexico with renowned producer Roberto Gallardo. The CD will be released on February 14, 2007, followed by a music video shortly thereafter.

Aunque es Anglo, EL GRINGO aprendió a hablar Español al trabajar con vaqueros mexicanos en el rancho ganadero de su familia, en El Paso. Con música Norteño/Ranchera tronando en las bocinas de su trocka, EL GRINGO le preguntaba a sus amigos vaqueros el significado de las letras de las rolas, y así cantando fue aprendiendo el Español. Con el tiempo, EL GRINGO se enamoró de la música mexicana, y cada vez le tuvo mayor respeto y aprecio a esos esforzados trabajadores inmigrantes, a quienes rinde tributo en su nueva canción, "El Corrido del Gringo".
EL GRINGO, cantautor Norteño, todavía en el comienzo de su carrera, está alcanzando ya sus primeros éxitos! Una de sus canciones de amor, "Tócame", puede ser escuchada en la película "QUINCEAÑERA" de Sony Pictures, lanzada a nivel nacional en Septiembre de 2006.
