In honor of the late Michael Jackson, I decided to play a violin rendition of his first number-one single as a solo artist, "Ben," which he recorded when he was only fourteen.

..I wanted to pay tribute to the man by playing one of his earlier, lesser-known hits, and something more heartfelt than his later material. I came really close to doing "Thriller" instead but decided that hearing it on a violin had too much of a hokey, comical effect. Maybe further down the line I'll record "Thriller." We'll see.

(Unfortunately, the sound keeps having these weird little blips every time I hit a high A or A sharp. :P Someday I will invest in a camera with a better mic.)
