Thanksgiving this year was GREAT! I started the day helping my mom out, but that was only the beginning!

Waiting for everyone to show up was torturous. I'd been smelling the deliciousness since early that morning! My stomach wasn't even growling anymore, it was ROARING. It was about to jump out and smack me around if I didn't get some food in him quick. Here we are hanging around the hors d'oveurs like vultures!






Max wanted in on the action!



What would Thanksgiving be without FOOTBALL?! My Uncle Lou, Tony, and I decided to work up an appetite before the meal. We wrangled all my little cousins to throw the ball around.






DINNER TIME!! We always eat outside (depending on how many people we have over). This year we did an all-American menu. Normally, we throw in as much Cuban stuff as possible. Everything was AWESOME! And afterwards, the kids roasted marshmmallows!





After dinner, we thought it would be a great surprise to go visit my Uncle at the Fire Station. Almost always, he ends up working on holidays and missing out. We all piled into the cars and headed out.





When we got the the guys at the station decided to take the kids along for a ride on the firetruck. I'm not ashamed to admit it, I really wanted to go. I can't tell you how good these drivers are. It was exhilirating! Hopefully it won't be the last time I get to rid in one of those. [wink]





Leave it to us to find a way to goof around! They have a tower with a pulley system where they hang the hoses to dry out after they use them. These things were way too fun.
