Current mood: productive Category: Music
Peace party people. Hope all is well. Rugged N Raw Awareness Month has been very productive thus far, and is actually picking up in a major way. I have two shows booked for this week, and for both of them, I am the only hip hop act performing. This will definitely be great, since people from all walks of life love RNR music. Here we go!
June 16th - RISE @ Nuyorican Poetry Cafe 7:30PM $10 Admission I also help work sound for this show. The 1st two months have been great. There is a a wonderful variety of performers and this month will be no exception. This gets the personal RNR stamp of approval. Also, there is free pizza after the show! Can't beat that.
Nuyorican is located at 236 E 3rd Street Between Avenues B & C. Take the F Train to 2nd Avenue or take the M14 bus to 3rd Street.

Also, I have been featured On Crazy Al Cayne's Television Program on NYC Long Island public access TV. I will be sending out another email Thursday night to update you all on more upcoming shows, including the two which I have booked on Sunday June 21st, which is Father's Day. This will be the 1st time I'm performing on this day. Admittedly, it might be a little tough, but the show must go on!
I would like to give a major shoutout to the legendary DJ Disco Wiz & congratulate him on the release of his book. It is a great read so far & am looking forward to finishing it in a couple of weeks.
As always, I would like to thank you for your continuous support. It definitely drives me to keep doin what I do. Much respect to everyone and I shall see you all this week at one of the shows.
