I love Christmas. Always have and always will.

Why? I think the bottom line is that it takes me back to the happiest time in my life - when I was a child. Life was so much simpler then. I had my mother's care and love and I had few worries and life was a real joy.

I think that is why I love the Star Wars movies so much. The music, the images take me back to my childhood and all that was good in life.

This is also the case with Christmas. All I have to do is hear "Silent Night" or any Christmas song and I am instantly transported back to the time of great joy in my life.

Now that I am an adult there are responsibilities, mounting debts, occasional bouts of depression, insecurity about me and my career and  hundreds of problems that we all as adults face.

Christmas time can intensify those bad things for many people. I try not to be that way - but it can be hard. Especially when we are expected to spend great amounts of money to show our love or if we are missing someone who is no longer in our lives that we loved spending Christmas with or if we are just not happy with our lives and where we are at.

However I try to look for the positives in this time of year. I love seeing  my niece's faces as they count down to Christmas and continue to give me an update on how many days are left to Christmas.

As an adult it can easy to dismiss Christmas as a time of debt, stress and just survival.

However please keep two things in mind:

1. Christmas is the happiest time of year for most children and it is the time they will remember when they are adults. So please make it as special as possible for them. I will never forget the tremedous effort that my mother went to just to make the day very special for me and my brother. Please do the same for ALL the children you know.

2. As tough as life can seem this time of year PLEASE be grateful for what you have. If you are reading this, at least you have a computer or access to one. There are people who don't even have access to medicine, food or water.

Have a very safe and wonderful Christmas.

Lots of love from Brian & Vegas Dragons. xxx

I know you are not Santa as him and I are sitting here right now starting our lists for next year. And again he says I get just coal so I still need  a coal compressor so I can turn them into diamonds.

As for thanx Just being able to breathe and dream is all any one person needs to be happy. So the world should be happy today.

A coal compressor so I can turn them into diamonds.

Maybe also some lemons so you can turn them into lemonade.

You are a special human being Luke, with a great outlook on life.

Once again, thank you for reading.

I hope you had a great Christmas. Mine was nearly perfect except for being so bummed out about James Brown dying.

Hope 2006 has been a great year for you and hope 2007 is ten times better!
