"Baaahhh!!" is a brilliant comedy by Stanislav Startiev. It will be a US premiere.
Ivan has a sheep skin jacket. The State thinks he has a sheep. He has to prove that he has no sheep...and it won't be that easy to do...

Audition date: BY APPOINTMENT ONLY 4/25/2007 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, call backs 4/26/2007 from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
Rehearsal date: to be announce
Performance: 9/3/2007 to 9/22/2007 at the Payan Theater in the heart of the Theater District in New york City + it's possible there may be an extra week in August.

IVAN ANTONOV: (Lead) Caucasian male, late 30's to early 40's.Confident but sensitive. Loyal. He fights for what he believes in.
BUREAUCRAT: (Lead) Male, any ethnicity, late 30's to early 40's. He must be able to play 6 different characters. Very strong acting skills.
EUGENE: (Lead) Male, any ethnicity, late 30's to early 40's. Ivan's friend, very practical.
ZHORO: (Lead) Male, any ethnicity, late 30's to early 40's. Ivan's friend, a simple man, with a simple dream.
HANGING MAN: Caucasian male, late 40's. Literally stuck in the system...
WIFE:Caucasian woman, late 30's to early 40's. Hanging man's wife, submissive, timid.
SON: Caucasian man, early to mid 20's. Hanging man's son. He wants to live his life.
FARMER I / PSYCHIATRIST:Caucasian male, late 30's to early 40's.The actor should be able to play 2 very different characters.
HOUSEWIFE: Female, any ethnicity, late 30's to early 40's. Very loving and caring, motherly type.
A 56 YEAR OLD MAN: Male, any ethnicity, late 400's to early 50's.
BARBER / FARMER II:Caucasian male, late 30's to early 40's. The actor should be able to play 2 very  different characters.
