downloadI finally made an upload of one of my sets. It was recorded last year in November at a local radio station in Erfurt (just before the Minus party at Centrum) …. It is far from any Andomat or Mahatma stuff. Or as the moderator puts it: "Kopf kaput – Musik" – "head destroyed – music" ….later he apologizes to the listeners that "the speakers are not defect" and that it’s "quite unconventional " … it is a lot of breakcore, some old house, motörhead, squarepusher, 30’s Schlager, Tom Jones, 70’s German rock, James Brown, 80’s Klaus Nomi, 90’s Dance, mash ups, noises and the final 30 minutes is the kind of stuff I have here on the myspace page. i start at 5:00min after that little silence ....
Again: if you expect any boring minimal or techno stuff don’t waste your time downloading this one...

Brilliant der Remix der Donk Boys, die den Track mit einem hüpfend seligen Chicagominimalismus zum Singen bringen (OK, ein paar Vocalschnipsel tragen dazu auch bei). Ein Track den man den ganzen Tag auf Repeat hören möchte, so zeitlos ist die Stimmung. Erinnert einen auch vage an die Zeit, als Herbert & Dani das House-Dreamteam waren. Andromat 3000 lässt den Groove etwas dunkler angehen, und setzt die Vocals eher als Nebensächlichkeit auf die Bank, wo sie warten aufgefordert zu werden. Dennoch charmant und nicht falsch auf dem pumpenderen Housefloor. Der Luke Solomon Mix gehört definitiv zum Besten was ich von ihm seit langem gehört habe, denn das ist ein Sound, der so außergewöhnlich zwischen den Minimalismen weht, dass man einfach vor Begeisterung in die Knie geht und dennoch anerkennt, dass hier irgendwo weit hinten Detroit als Anker fest auf dem Grund liegt. Todd Sines selbst legt mit seinem verkanteten Remix dann die Bandbreite der Platte noch etwas höher. Sehr vielseitige und dabei dennoch immer perfekte Platte.

The great surprise of 2008 Andomat 3000 is coming with a killer release on einmaleins as part of the label’s expanding of sounds and various styles always keeping the factor quality as a key player of its vinyls. "Delirium Tremens" is a lovely track with groove as its middle name and playful synths.Definatly a track to put the dancefloor back to life and shake. "Impertinenz" is a more straiped down track more powerful and focused on the repetiviness, and with an excellent bass drive thourght its durance. This release also hosts a remix by ..a dark track, with mental voices on the back ground carefully located to create this sound scape.A weird and unique interpretation of the remixer that definatly shows the great production work done with the available material he had! A great combination of different styles,quality tracks is Einmaleins029!!!
debug:"Delirium Tremens" ist mir vom ersten Moment an sympathisch, weil der Groove so klingt als wäre er aus einem Automaten, dessen Gelenke vor Glück ständig quietschen. Aber hier bleibt es nicht bei dem mächtig pulsierenden Groove, der immer dichter gezwirbelt wird, sondern die Sounds entwickeln nach und nach immer mehr Ravegefühl, dass einen mit einer unnachahmlichen Beständigkeit auf den Gipfel treibt. "Andis Remix für Flo’s "Skunkworks"" kickt mit minimalerem Plockern und übernächtigtem Lachen, das stellenweise klingt, als hätte man es aus einer digitalen Tüte Chips als Bonusgadget geklaut. Sehr haarig und knusprig wie auch der letzte, darkere Track "Impertinenz", der mich an einiges, was auf Minibar so an Jazzfragmenten des Minimalen erschienen ist, erinnert. Trocken, aber mit unerschütterlichem Funk in der Hinterhand.

cognitive dissonance:With Cecille003 we have an excellent three tracker from the well known Artist Andomat3000 (Cadenza / Platzhirsch). He keeps the perfect balance with adding the warm groovy house feelings and the freaky sounds he stands for! Kind of his typical dippy style flavour with a bit of that minimalism tech house sound…. wicked! "vertical smile" is a percussive rhythmic and powerful minimal house tune grooving with a hypnotic voice that can be used as perfect warm tool for any dance floor. "cicl?" has an old school touch in a futuristic production and gives you real power and more than enough matters to shake and rock the dancefloor. "hominid" is an modern crazy effective techno track, nice percussion, small cuts and a deep base…frickl wickl
groove:Passender Name für einen tollen Track: Kaum setzen die ersten Takte von „Vertical Smile" ein, strahlt man schon wie ein Bekloppter. Der Groove packt einen sofort, der Verstand verliert sich in dem feinen Stimmen-Sample, und der Körper schreit nach Bewegung. House für die besten Stunden im Club. Der Track „Cicl" auf der B-Seite verfolgt einen anderen Ansatz und überzeugt mit seinem Oldschool-Vibe. Treibende Claps und Hi-Hats und ein simpler aber feiner Pianoloop schieben den Track nach vorne. Gut ist auch „Hominid", ein verfrickelt-zerstückelter Technotrack mit tiefer Basslinie und schicker Perkussion. Wie man auf Englisch sagt: all killer, no filler
debug:Bislang war jeder Release auf Cecille einfach Killer und auch die Nummer drei macht da keine Ausnahme. Ein fast schon unanständig schiebender Pusher ist "Vertical Smile", die sehr langgezogene A-Seite. Frisch und mit einem Breakdown, der es in sich hat. Plötzlich verschwindet die trockene Schärfe und alles orgelt sich gen Decke. Auf der B-Seite dann zweimal Tempodrosselung für die kleinen minimalen Disco-Pistolen. Große Maxi!
......and it’s in the charts of groove and resident advisor ... maybe i do some more ego googlin later but for now that’s enough cause it already bores me...
