After a whole lot of effort trying to reboot the band after Joe's departure, Censura is going on a definite hiatus. This isn't a big surprise since there has been about zero info regarding the progress of new material and about no updates regarding the bands future. I'm sure some of you are wondering why were calling it quits. Well simply put, after Joe left the band, Censura really wasn't the same. The camaraderie the band was formed upon has seemingly disappeared and because of this, it seems kind of pointless to continue on with this type of project.
Having said that, I can say that me (Joey) and Danny are continuing with music is one way or another. We are currently running a studio (more info available soon) out of our house and still writing music together. As for Chris... I'm actually not sure but I'm sure whatever he chooses to do will be filled with creativity and passion.
If your interested in our lives post Censura please check back here and hopefully you'll find some info. Also our crowning achievement "A Common Courtesy" will still be available for purchase on Itunes for the foreseeable future.
Before I end this blog I want everyone, who actually gave a shit about us and our music, to know that we're eternally grateful for the times we shared together. It was because of you wonderful people we continued on, even when things seemed their darkest. I can personally say that being in Censura was one of the greatest experiences of my life and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
And so it ends....
Thanks again everyone for you support and remember, the end always brings a new beginning.
