Wonderful things are happening for me! I've booked passage on the Legendary Blues Cruise for Jan 24, 2009!    www.bluescruise.com 

This cruise sells out a yr in advance and I happened upon someone who needed to back out. A incredible opportunity for me! I have two super roomies, one who I actually met at the North Atlantic Fest in Rockland last year!  It took all my savings to pay for the trip, so I'm working lots of hours at LLBean for the next couple of weeks to recoupe. It's well worth the $$ as I'll network and jam with lots of successful blues people, many I have already played with the last few years. This cruise will be a real boost for my carreer!

I fly home on Jan 31 and get in the van with Mom and we drive to Memphis for the International Blues Festival www.blues.org/ibc   More networking and showcasing with the new band from FL,  "Pat Pepin Darrell Raines Band" www.sonicbids.com/patpepindarrellrainesband and after a rocking weekend in Memphis, I'll head to FL, spend a day or two with Mom in Okeechobbe and then continue south to Ft Lauderdale/Miami to rehearse, gig and write songs. Darrell's booking agent is working on getting some gigs for us while I'm there. I did secure a festival in Ft Pierce on March 15. So I'll be a Patibago gypsy for a few weeks. The Tampa Bay Blues Festival is March 21 and I'll probably head north from there.

I haven't visualized or planned further ahead than this - I will tho!!
