Whats up whats up?

Last night was the first annual Kings/Golden Bear bar crawl. Holy shit! So much fun, if you slept on this one... your bad. Don't worry I have a feeling there will be more. We will keep you informed.

We started at GB at about 4 with around 80 people, then at 6 we loaded a doubledecker party bus with Safari style graphics. Fatty was really excited about that. The bus was loaded with 2 Full Sail kegs and endless Blue Ice vodka/​Redbulls.​.​.​ it was a 30 min ride and awesome to say the least. The mood was ELECTRIC when we piled off the bus. I watched a few old folks cringe as everyone rambled up to the door in the same black and gold shirt (which is sick. Thanks Tina!) We got into Arco and went straight to the Cantina to redeem our drink tickets. From there I think I watched 80 people have way to much fun and maybe 8 minutes of basketball. I actually don't even know who won. After the game back on the bus for more drinks. Then we got dropped at MVPs and from there it was Streets then Aura then the unofficial stop for Light Rail at Blue Lamp. A great time was had by all and I think GB has a lot of new fans.

Ok... on to new buisness. This weekend we have some rad DJs and things going down.

First off don't forget our happy hour. 4-7pm all drinks $1 off... that means $1.50 beers and $2 wells.

DJ Rob Fatal / Jake D (Lonely Kings, Last Angels, Spanish Fly)

2nd Saturday downtown... lookout. Rob Fatal will kick the night off at 10. He always surprises with his picks. Dude keeps it consistently fresh and jumping. Then to finish it off Jake D is taking over around 12 til close. If you were there last time Jake spun you know it was nuts. Pag even did a ACDC karaoke cover. Who knows what Jake will have this time.

Jon is celebrating his 30th at TGB with a huge party/​fundrasier.​ We're still hammering out the final details. Here are some of the things I have heard

- eats by Rob Rossi (Mulvaney's)
- Pizza from Hot Italian
- Drink and beer specials
- A special beer garden/stage in the Lot next door
- So much more

Dan and Leighann our upstairs neighbors who we love are going to have LightRail play on their balcony above our patio. This is not a GB sponsored event but we love it. Come see them before the cops show :) they will start around 7pm.
