Hi Friends,

It's been a while.

Today I added a bunch of new songs. Enjoy. They come from a new project called Dirtbike. They aren't for sale anywhere and never will be, but they shouldn't be too hard for anyone to find. It's totally post-modern.

I have some other hair-brained ideas for getting music out there that I'll be trying soon. Watch out.

The Bike For Three! album will be out soon. Early-early 2009.

I wish my profile didn't look so boring. One day soon I'll try to make it dynamic to look upon.

I have a day job now which changes everything (almost entirely for the better). I think the music business is changing crazy-fast and I'm doing everything I can to not get left in the dust. I'm thinking forward. I'm also thinking about survival.

I now have a cat named Kevin. But he also has a lot of nicknames: Rabies, Garbagey, Stink Bomb... He creates another change in my life. I'm a dad now.

I feel strange and nervous about the upcoming election in the US. On one hand, I feel like I know who I want to win. On the other hand, I feel like whoever does has an impossible task laid out in front of them and we'll all probably end up hating whoever it is after a few months anyway. I don't think anyone can fix all the problems out there right now. So sometimes I feel like it would be easier to deal with if someone I already don't like wins. Know what I mean? It's a terrible attitude to have, I know. But it's pretty hard to be optimistic when you're swirling down the toilet...

I better get back to work, but I promise I'll be back soon. Sooner than last time.

Thanks for being my friend. I appreciate your patience.

just wanted to add

i think you know as well
as i do
it's when life is having you "swirl down the toilet" as you so eloquently put it
that our perspectives change and we have a chance to take another step closer to our true being
and that moment in time
usually produces some rather major art

i love you buck
please don't wash out to sea with coutless goldfish and baby alligators

i'd love you to be a dj at my streaming station
you can send files
to be placed into the playlist
and never have to sit in the drivers seat
or be seen
it's free radio
so there are NO rules

i think it may make a lil smile on yer face
perhaps even for on simple nano second

wishes for joy
in your life

hi,

I hope more happiness, inspiration and love finds its way into your life very soon! Your music has inspired me for years, thanks for producing it!

i think i'd be a little afraid to have fans and expectations.. music is my last bastion of love and it's kinda nice that no one hears it.. alone in these catacombs where light is god and society has no existence, alone with a few notes and few stories and a few more years

You are the Great Muse dear Brother 65..

great love be with you

Buck... I'll tell you one thing for certain, your day job changes everything for the better for me. Radio 2 Drive rocks my world. I've never been so hooked on a radio show. Good luck with finding balance between all your creative endeavors.

Dirtbike is great. You should atleast let people donate money to you as an artist, right now you're basically forcing people to accept your music for free. I'm all for The New Music Market but there's no reason to not accept money.....You're the shit. Good luck with your job.
