Ok, it's been a while and there's a bunch to say. So we'll start from now and work backwards.
10.15.07 we played "acoustic night" at TT The Bear's Cambridge and it was pretty sweet. Our buddy Sellershot was there performing as well and another pal from TopHeavy rocked it out solo style, too. We had the place to ourselves pretty much and we all relaxed and ripped out some sweet acoustic rock. There were some patrons and they were gracious and it was a very laid back evening (barring the metal band blowing the speakers nextdoor which provided alot of comedy relief for the performers throughout the night). Anyway, there's a video posted of us playing "IL MOnstro" which we had fun with, except we didn't get to finish up due to my (pat's) guitar snapping a string in the middle of our cover song and we just kind of gave in to karma and spent the rest of our time in a n impromptu comedy act complete with Mikey giving his djembe a lap dance and then sharing scary haunted house stories with the crowd.
Before that, we'd been out to Old Folks Home Recording to capture one of our new songs, "Vicarious" for an acoustic project directed by one of our buddies. We rocked out with some of our close pals and fellow acoustic artists, which was a rare treat. Being in the studio with outside musical interests and seeing them throw down and them watching you is very musically vouyeristic to say the least, but also very theraputic and at times pretty mind blowing. It was a good time and Alex is the man, and we hope you like the track we came out with. We should be going back this winter to record the rest of our new stuff for a new CD, but for now we'll chill with the demo and maybe do some more home recorded stuff to tide over our frothing fans.
Anyway, that's more than i was thinking of writing, so i'm stopping here and we'll come back when we have more news. For now, just enjoy the videos and the tracks and remember the titans.
