I've written two songs in the past few weeks. And I'm going to be completely unmodest and say they're really awesome songs. I've been building up my skills in Garageband, so I'm learning to incorporate a lot of layers that really add a new element to my music.
My only problem. My vocals suck. I know. Everyone tells me. You don't have to tell me again. In my defense, they've been getting better, definitely better than a year ago. But still, they suck. And I can only rerecord vocals so many times before I just get entirely frustrated and abandon the entire project. So the question is, do I just go ahead and post the songs with shoddy vocals, or should I shelve it all to retry again in another year when my vocals are presentable?
Seriously. Would love any input.
