As a singer/songwriter, you have to get your words you sing from somewhere. That's half the battle. The only reason I sing is to mimic my feelings on the inside. I never really thought about it, about the reason for the words or that anyone listened to them, they just seemed to make sense at times. Through music do I outwardly voice inner turmoil-spilling it-or, more like pouring sounds into molds of words.

So with that said, this is the link to my writing/poetry blog I've been nibbling at for the past year or so. When I feel like writing, I'll usually go straight there and uncover the reasons for the blanket on my heart, or amplify the love light shining through my fingertips or make wishes on words. It's always good to be working steadily at everything-instruments, writing, singing. To grow into your mold, your word, your Be.

Writing is just as delicate as singing and painting. It is soul bearing and exploring, living with an open chest and knowing your honesty is the ink the brush dips in.
