I play bass on several of the tracks. At one point, the producer, Rafter Roberts said that he was going to leave the room and requested that I surprise him in his absence. Before going, he let the title track role and put me into record. Glancing around the messy funk of the little room, I spied a lump of metal under the mixing desk. I grabbed this and laid into the parts of the bass that were not intended to be played. A little metallic dissonance amidst a velvet sunset of sound. Psychedelic country folk rock redux sublime!
