On this first day of September 2008, we are all back in our homes, Mindy, Melissa and family, and Manager Beverly Brock, almost numb but all knowing that when we met with Dave Moody of Lamon Records in Nashville, TN over the Labor Day weekend, that he fell in love with Melissa and Mindy as much as their fan base already has!

The journey is an interesting one. As the girls manager, I received an email from Mindy stating that she had submitted her headshot and resume to producer/director Dave Moody for an upcoming film. Mindy is a talent actress and singer. After Dave received Mindy's headshot, he went to her MySpace page which is truly in depth and full of all of her accomplishments, and also includes a MySpace link to her sister Melissa Ramski's site.

Melissa and Mindy asked me if I would accompany them on a trip to Nashville with their parents to met Dave Moody. Well, of course I was very proud and honored to tell them yes!

Both girls are accomplished singers and have put much time and effort into their careers and continue to do so with the support and backing of their parents. Currently, living in Ulysses, Kansas, the Ramski's traveled to Nashville to meet with Dave after he was so impressed with the girl's looks and their voices. I traveled from Hickory, NC to join them for these meetings.

After arriving in Nashville and checking into our hotel we all had a good nights sleep in preparation for our exciting day on August 27^th 2008. We met for lunch with Dave Moody and his son Josh at PF Chang's in Nashville at 11:30 a.m.

Producer Dave Moody asked the girls and their parent's questions about where they saw their careers going and where they saw themselves in the years ahead. Both of the girls had similar answers and their parents told of the girls growing up, performing at one event then another. Their fan base is larger than some established singers and it's from their positive attitudes, their wonderful drive and energy, along with performing in many locations to broaden their fan base as well as their name. They didn't start this trip with the notion of singing as a duo, but it soon became evident that this was the way to go!!

Dave Moody asked if after lunch we would follow him and Josh over to a studio so he could hear the girls sing in person! Well, this was an experience that the girls were definitely ready for!

Dave asked Melissa, the younger of the two at 17 years old what she would like to sing. She sang "She Got You" and "Crazy". Mindy, the oldest at 19 years old sang "Walking after Midnight".

Then the girls sang "Heaven" and "Leave the Pieces" together! Their harmony was good and their performance great! And when they sang "Heaven," that cinched the deal for record producer Dave Moody and the duo group "The Ramski's" was born!

Dave Moody, is a member of the Grammy nominated Moody Brothers and now heads the CMA and GMA Award Winning Record label, with a host of familiar names he has worked with over the years. We are honored Dave has decided to work with the girls and we look forward to a long standing relationship!

With their looks, personality, talent, and age this should put "The Ramski's" quickly at the top of the Country Pop charts!!

Melissa graduated high school early and will soon be moving to Nashville, TN to get on the "fast track" in the music industry! Mindy is in college now and will travel back and forth to Nashville as much as possible.

Lamon Records will introduce the girls to the public with a release of a favorite Christmas song before the holidays, so be watching for that and in the meantime go to MySpace and search for The Ramski's. Become another friend on their MySpace pages and join their street team to help spread the word about this talented new country pop duo!!!

Mindy and Melissa will be traveling back to Nashville, TN to go back into the studio with producer Dave Moody to lay down tracks for their first single release, and start production on their CD as The Ramski's to be released early next year!
