DZJENGHIS KHAN - S/T This Bay Area trio is probably most easily classified as stoner hard rock, but that doesn't do justice to a sound with undercurrents of blues and psychedelic grooves. And even better, they appreciate that brevity is the soul of wit, as this clocks in at 40 minutes. (I'm tired of of CD's that drag on for 75 minutes, but that's a rant for another time). Program killer riffs like "Wildcat", "End of the Line" and "The Widow" first. Clearly a band deserving of more recognition.
