Ah, the rise and fall of Myspace. Not so long ago, there seemed to be only Myspace. You gotta get on it Gareth, people said. So eventually I did get on it. And I'm still on it. But these days it feels a little like an imaginary post-Armageddon World, where only the bands survived. What a disaster that would be. Look there's Lily Allen chewing on a dead man's leg. As Lady Gaga rummages through landfill on the hunt for some thrown away lip gloss. You know that even if the majority of the population did die out tomorrow, there would still be some terrible unsigned band called The Something Or Other sending out messages saying "Hi, check out our songs". Very sad. However, at least I didn't spend 580 million dollars on buying Myspace, so good job Rupert Murcoch beat me to it. A shrewd investment! Soon we shall finally sort out a new website.
This is really just to tell you in a long winded way that I have no news. None. We are booking a few gigs, but nothing confirmed to tell you. We're still working on The Family Amusement Centre, but no release date to tell you. We've finished Grumpiest Fun and accompanying single, but not sure when that'll be out. Though I can tell you that my Mom thinks it's "the best thing she's ever heard". Why do you never see quotes like that on adverts?
In fact the only real news is I'm going on holiday on Thursday. To France. Where the French are. But I will be coming back. And then I should have some real news. Well at least some gig dates.
The new album is sounding bloody good. And I rarely swear. Bloody good. I swear.
I tell you what though, watch this.....

Disturbing and beautiful.
Take care,
Grandmaster Gareth

..Nothing? I saw you on Saturday at the Academy in Birmingham and thought that you were brilliant.....One of those wonderful moments when you stumble into a hall, chance upon a band , and are blown away.I have been strying to explain to my friends what you are like, a cross between early- Genesis, jethro Tull, jefferson Airplane and early kinks is the best i can manage.........Gary....(A new convert who will be at your next Brum gig)..

wow, that's a pretty good description. Throw in a bit of Jona Lewie and you'd have nailed it.
