Welcome to all the new students at The Actor's Workshop & Studio who are studying with Director Brian Lawrence (Corrupted Minds, Life Goes On)!   Monika, Michael, Duane, Ric, Aaron, Janice, Shawn, Marquise and Micah - glad to have you in the new Intro Workshop.

Both of Brian's films included actors who studied with him at the Studio, including the lead in Life Goes On, Vince Orlando. (By the way, Vince just got back from a fruitful trip to the Sundance Film Festival.)

Actors in our Actor As Filmmaker program are currently working on new material from Brian's latest script.  He is workshopping a script called Walking Shadows.  He's working on the latest draft which promises some exciting changes from previous versions, based on the scenes I've read.

Finally, I'd like to warmly welcome back some former students who have returned to continue working on their acting skills in Thursday's Ongoing Study.  Chuck, Kristi, Adrienne, Jim and Rabih - glad to be working with you again!  And it's a special treat to be working with Vince again!

By the way, how many of you have seen Mulholland Drive?  What did you think of these two scenes:  the one in which Naomi Watts is preparing for an audition and the actual audition scene?  I'm encouraging Brian to show these scenes in class for discussion.  (This was originally Paolo's idea.)
