Shane Forrester, known to many as a musician and vocalist, always reflect a youthful and vibrant energy to his recordings and stage performances. His duel persona gives him a reputation of a true entertainer. Forrester's musical and entertainment career began at the tender age of twelve as lead vocalist of the group The Smooth Boys. Those formative years in this all boy group provided the springboard for Shane to grow and develop as an artiste. This development was recognized by The Troubadours International who invited him to perform on their Canadian and U S A tours. Shane later joined the band IV Play (later renamed 4D People) in 1995. 4D People became one of the most popular and successful bands of the 90's in Barbados. During his five years with 4D People, Shane was featured on all three of the bands albums and had the opportunity to tour the Caribbean and Europe performing at prestigious events like the Modem Musical Trade Fair in France and sharing the stage with top international artistes such as Boys 2 Men, Beres Hammond, and James Ingram. His on stage persona and musical ability continued to develop and mature, making him one of the most popular R & B artiste in Barbados. Shane has become a much sought after vocalist and guitarist, performing at the Barbados Jazz Festival, The Barbados Gospel Fest, The Ottawa Blues Fest and on various recording projects. His recent tribute in song to animal activist Steve Irwin is becoming very popular among animal lovers all over the World. Shane has just completed his 12 track album; all tracks are written and produced by Shane.
