A bird pooed on my head on the way to the studio this morning. I'm taking it as a good sign.

I need a good omen as almost every night for the past week I've had horrendous nightmares in which my family and I come to a horrible end. Not very pleasant, although the one in which I was chased by Lord Voldemort around a library wasn't quite as scary as the others.

In real life, things are going swimmingly. We set aside five days to put down the drums, but Chris 'the machine' Hutchings did them in two and a half days. He's incredible. He listens to the songs once, having never heard them before, scribbles down a few things and then strolls into the studio and plays it perfectly! What a guy. Although, it puts me under pressure to do all the rest of the parts just as well.

On a stroll around the studio today, I discovered an authentic Dalek surrounded by amazing 50s and 60s mixing desks. I wonder if I can convince him to do some backing vocals.

Cakes consumed so far include lemon drizzle cake, chocolate cornflake cake, mince pies, apple cake and tom and jerry strawberry cake.

Finally finished accumulating all the ingredients for this year's christmas cake, leaving a mere six weeks to get it ready for human consumption, including making both Almond Paste and Royal Icing layers.
Should I save a piece for you?

Never mind the nightmares, it sounds like things are going great (and how can they not when you have that much cake?).
Best of luck anyway, you're awesome - I stumbled across your myspace page a couple of weeks ago and can't stop listening to your songs since then! Looking forward to the album!

Hello! I literally cannot wait to hear your album. It's without a doubt one of my most wanted. I'm glad that everything is going well. Until then I have The Hypocrite to keep my ears happy.

Take care!
