Current mood:  sad
Category: Life

After 29 days in a hospital, moving from her room to emergency almost every day, finaly her suffering has ended.

My grandma passed away on last thursday, August 2nd, at 76. The cause of death was a chronic pneumonia and other lung problems. She was a smoke addicted since she was only 8 years old.

I really don't want to die this way, so I have to stop smoking.
If you smoke, I recommend to do the same.
I know is very hard, but we can try together, and we'll win.

I'm so sorry, my friend. I wish you and your family well in grieving and in coping with her loss. And I wish you the best in quitting the nicotine habit. We don't want to lose you, brother. :)

Both of my grandmothers died of smoking-related illnesses. It's tough to see a loved one in the hospital suffering during those last weeks of his/her life.

I tried smoking when I was 11, but I didn't want to do it anymore after I nearly passed out from inhaling the smoke.

Good luck with your quest to quit. You'll improve your health and save money since you won't be spending it on cigarettes.
