The First Lady of Song gets a stamp!
WASHINGTON — Ella Fitzgerald, artist, vocalist and Grammy award winner,becomes the 30th honoree in the U.S. Postal Service's popular BlackHeritage commemorative stamp series Jan. 10.
The U.S. Postal Service© will commemorate the new 39-cent stamp duringa first-day-of-issue ceremony tomorrow at Jazz at Lincoln Center, NewYork, NY, when the stamps go on sale nationwide.
