Having been back in the U.K for a week or two I’m back in the swing of things and will write more about my experiences in America over coming months. Paul O’Neill has been mixing my two solo albums and I’ve been present at his studio for some of the sessions. I’ve replaced the odd vocal and guitar part here and there. I’ve got a designer in Wakefieled designing the album covers and I’m currently trying to get the credits together for him. Work continues.  

VEGAS (July)

My room here is wonderful at the ‘M Resort’ Las Vegas Boulevard South and I’m currently at my window over looking the desert. Tonight’s venue is outdoor and a part of the resort. Sound check won’t be for a while so I’m going swimming. I love it here.

L.A (July)

I met Micky Dolenz of ‘The Monkees’ backstage and this day has been surreal for me. We went on stage slightly too early and during the opening song people were still entering the concert hall. However, it was still one of my greatest experiences to play here. I’m at the Gibson Amphitheatre within the Hollywood Studios complex and ‘Spinal Tap’ was filmed at this venue and I’m not surprised as it’s easy to get lost back stage. ‘Desperate Housewives’ was being filmed on this complex tonight. One of the band members of one of the bands went missing, he got lost and ended up at the local police station, and everything is ok now.
