Seeing "Coda in G Minor" on the big screen at the $100 Film Festival back in March left me wanting to re-edit it; I thought I'd figured out how to use the extra footage that I'd shot. But after spending quite a bit of time working on that, I've decided that I prefered the ambiguity of my original edit. The fact that I've also had the validation of having that version accepted at a variety of festivals helps with my decision, too. So far, it has screened at the $100 Film Festival in Calgary, the Fear No Film Festival in Utah, the Great Northern Arts Festival in Inuvik and it will be screening at the WILDsound Festival in Toronto on August 23rd.

Some day, I may decide to do a completely different version (because I have some ideas about that) but that will be a different film with a different title. "Coda in G Minor" is now finished. Period. So if you want to follow its life on the festival circuit, I will be posting those updates on my Coda blog.
