So, I've had really crazed week of DJing... Tues at 86 was excellent (though technically i din't play), Weds at Short Stop was really fun and thr crowd was cool and had dancing fever, Lubitsch was quality as always and the Cocaine Kids party earlier tonight at Footsie's, where i broke out some dusties groovy house jamz, was cool as hell.









This all brings me to the shit I just got home from.








Wow.








The Crystal Castles werehouse party in downtown was unbelievable. Thanks to MFG for bringing me aboard. I barely got a chance to see the rest of the party, as I was coming from playing at Sugarfoot and arrived @ 1:30am, but it looked crazy. I was lucky enough to get to close the night on the Dance Right stage and the energy was bananas, ridiculous... just next level,. I got to play so many of my favorite songs new and old* and the reactions were amazing. The dance floor remained packed and energetic until the security guards angrily cut me off at 3am. The fact that people stood around refusing to leave asking for "one more" felt so good. It made me really happy to get to experience this kind of event in my hometown of Los Angeles, we're the best in muthafuckin west, fuck the rest.









Playing all these different parties, in different parts of this great town made me realize how dope the scenes are out here right now... And we're all having so much fun!
I got to play with so many friends who are such talented DJ's Pubes, Desert Eagles, Rockwell, Pandemonium Jones, Dirty Dave, Nate Day, The Cocaine Kids, Skeet Skeet, Cosmic Kids, Acid Girls, Riot In Belgium, Clasixx, DJ AM, Steve Aoki, Fashen, Guns n Bombs! All just this past week.








I must mention that I praise excalibur promoters like Matt C, MFG and Anne Lee who work around the clock to make this type of shit happen for us.








It's getting me so hyped for this summer! The Do-Over is coming back son! Afterparty Kings are coming back! All that shit! I can't wait.
