Antony
Harding – Darren Hayman split 7”
Antony
Harding and Darren Hayman used to be in Hefner. Hefner did five times more Peel
sessions then Blur and owned twice as many synthesizers as Radiohead.
Antony
has been Darren's best friend for most of the time they have known each other
but not whilst they were in a band together. They were both crazy when they
were in Hefner. This is reason number 14 in Darren's “List of Reasons Why
Hefner Won't Reform”.
Darren
has written a song called The Bands That Don't Reform and it's about how
crazy they both used to be. Antony isn't crazy anymore, he lives in Malmö with
his beautiful wife and children.
Antony
and Darren have a friend called Joel who says Antony's music is better to “make
out” to than Darren's.
This
isn't just a split single. Both Antony and Darren play on each others songs.
They really should do this more often.
