ASSEND OFFEND+ANTIMANIAX+AGAINST ME
Hey hey .. the maniax just came back from their road trip to the east…
So first of all I just gonna introduce the people who joint this van of love ……
Georg ,candee,tom..the old maniax crew ..with their old bass player chris.Because Dani (the new bass player)didn’t get free time from his civil work …sad sad ..
And of course lea and gerli…our lovely friends from graz, misses merch and mister mussel.
The tour stated on the 14th of july05 and ended on the 26th of july05 so a quiet short tour .
destiny was the eastern part of Europe…and here you can read some impressions from this journey..
14th…..GRAZ
The first day, the beginning , the start or what ever you wanna call it .
It was the show in graz with insane (slo)who started the set with an infernal melodic punk blast. Rentokill our Austrian homies was up second and did their job really good and the crowd already got mad…
About 10 the doors where shut cause the show was totally sold out with more than 250 people.A pitty for those who didn’t get in.
about 11 we jumped on the stage and I really have to say this was one of the best and energetic shows we head in the last 2 years in our home town ..the crowd was totally sick and everything just went out to a really good and lovely gig. thnx to Mafiosi for the sound.
Finally against me rocked the house so hard, that everybody fellt more or less like in a sauna …I think that was one of the sweetest shows that I saw this year in the explosive …
maybe because their where so many different kind of people from different cities and countries so their was a really good good spirit…thanx to the explo crew and of course all the people for showing up and having a real good time.
15th……FLUFF FEST
right after the show in graz , we packed our stuff and hit the road at 5 in the morning to the famouse fluff fest near pilzn. the drive took us more than 8 hours after being checked and controlled 4 times bye the police and the boarder patrol , our flat tier didnt made the whole thing funnier.but finnaly we arrived right in time.
it was so good to see all the old friends from cz ,lithuenia, Poland ,hungary ,and uk plus a lot of Austrian known faces…….we talked a lot and eat so many vegan stuff.
We hit the fluff stage at 15.15 .we really didn’t expect anything because we knew that this festival is known as an hardcore festival .anyway, we played a 35 minutes set with some technical problems and some people seemed to enjoy the ska-death-sqaut-disaster …..we had a real good time on the stage and it was a good fun at all.
It was kind of sad to leave that festival that early because we just hade to move our asses to cesis show in Latvia wich includes an 28 hour drive. Thanx to tomas and the whole fluff crew and to the old friends we meet and the people who danced to the non taff guy hc beat .
16th…..CESIS
Back in the van and on the road again with the destination cesis we left the fluff fest at 18 o clock…this long long drive seemed to be the first hard challenge for all the people in the van.
More than 28 hours in a van driving thru 4 countries and 30 degrees seemed not to be the best helpers for a compfortable drive.
half of the way we got some problems with the van ..but tom just fixed it .. hell yeah not more expenses.
But finaly we made it to the fono festival…and again right in time
We meet some old friends and just relaxed after this drive ,finally we got some food before we hit the stage.. we jumped on the stage at 1.30 .their was still a lot of people (about 300).it was so good to hear some people singing our sonx, that we already forgot the long long long , did i mention the, drive..
After the show we finally meet the boys from ass and of end .. the first contact with them was really cool and friendly .we had a got time with them and at 5 o`clock they hit the same stage. it was good to know that from now on we hit the road with such an good hc punk blast.
We kissed our beds at 6 and sleeped in a really sweet place. Thnx to Christina

17th….VILNIUS
We left the house after a great breakfast at 1, meet the boys from ass end of end at 2 and made our way to Vilnius.No traffic or van problems .we arrived at 6.30 in vilnius
Domas and all the people from the green club already waited for us in front of the club..after loading we got a real good warm vegan food(denis is the man) …everything seemed to be alright.
The greenclub is a kind of an autonomic center .
it was our 3 th time in this city And the big big supprise was that dan from five knuckle (uk) a good friend just showed up at the place and told us that he is on a road trip truh Europe for 2 month.
Ass end of end played a better show than the day before, maybe it was because just 20.30 and not 5 in the morning like the day before. the crowd really enjoyed it. we started at 21.15
their was about 80 people enjoying the set. After the show we drove to the place from denis who was the chef and bar man in the club .
their was already a small party going on. so many different people from different nations where at this place ,Poland -estonia-latvia-amerika-austria-uk…….and Belgium it was so nice in every corner their was a different language and every body had a real good time ..some got drunk .some got stoned and some just enjoed the feeling of being their.
18th…KAUNAS
we arrived in kaunas at 5 and 2 girls picked us up and final before we already played we got a realy delicios meal.at the bar named anties ,a kind of pizza disco pub ,we first got some problems with the electrecity.after 1 ½ hour the show started with assend off end ..still straight still fast forward still good as fuck .
Their was no stage in this venue wich makes the whole think quite familary. we went up at 11 and it was really good fun .alot of singing and dancing action .
After backing and loading we made it to the house of biaska the girl who was involved in the local concert group.
We prepared a good night snack and everybody fellt to sleep.
19th..kaunas 1st day off
So we all got up really late and the whole food that we tried to prepaire took us more than 3 hours (what a shame).but in the end it was delicious.we went to a real nice lake near to that place where we decide to stay one more day ,biaskas house (thanx for that).it was a really good day off and in the night we got a vegan barbecue and everybody was chilling, laughing and talking till the morning.
20th..riga 2nd day off
We decided to drive to riga to meet some friends and hang out on the sea side.we meet our friend edgars at 7pm went to a pizza place and finaly went to the depo where a band played.we got some dancing action in the disco and watched some local bands, finaly we went to our beds at 4 in the morning.
21th…RIGA
So we woke up at 12 and tried to find the sea side,hm yes we tried . this excursion took us more than 1 and a half`n hour with the van.it brought us 40 km far from riga .as we arrived we just where supposed to jump in to the weaves but suddenly it started to rain so we hade to go back the whole way to riga.back in riga some of us went into the city for a short sight seeing. We got in to the depo at 18 and got a really good food.we played with a local band and their was about 80 people.it was good fun and this night we crashed down in a big studio complex with really nice rooms and beds for everyone and yes showers ...
22th..KULDIGA
After 3 hours short drive we arrived in the best club that we actually played on this tour .it was an autonomic center . it was just a perfect place.a really big big garden a lot of place to play and so many things to see.inside their was a beautiful bar and a concert room.in the roof of the house they build a big big sleeping place for the bands and all the people who liked to stay after the show.the show was quiet busy and it was good fun some friends of us sang with us the song "baby im an anarchist".and it was just perfect.after the show we all chilled together , some of us went to night swimming with 20 other locals to an waterfall ,wich was just 5 minutes far from the place.as we finaly went to bed the sun already rised the sky .
23th..ATHYLY
Wow after such an great day we head a perfect breakfast and left this place and all the friends.we drove to a place where we didnt expect a show.it wa a big nig field somewhere in nowhere.it was a camp or something from the local youth.just look at the pix.we started really early cause we just played on a different place 4 hours later.it was a fancie restaurant where a spanish guitar band rocked before.it was a really strange feeling their, all this nice well dressd people sitting and eating drinkin and small talking .....may they always get bands like us to kick the people out of the restaurant......at 1 we started our mission ..and well it worked out fine..hehhe.but it was good fun and we got something to eat ...delicious ....
24th..GDANSK
yeah back in poland and the first time in kaunaz we played on this day with the great AGAINST ME.the people who set up this show ,it was a 2 day festival,where well organized ...some really good food.and a lot of distros and info desks.it was good to see that alot of people went to this show.we meet some old friends again.we played after against me and got somereally bad bad technical problems.we started our set 3 times .finaly tome fixed tom the pa and we played a quitey strange show.in this night we helped ourself with a sleeping place.the girl at the bar helped us out with that .we arrived at here flat where here mother and grand father lived.unfortunatly we woke the mother .....it was really unpleasently.....

25th...WARSAWA
so the last show on this tour ...it was a really really big big and nice sqaut.when we arrived first we started an Investigation of this complex of buldings.on the roof of this old factory, their was such a great view.a little later the against me also arrived.alot of distro - info stuff ....alot to watch ...alot of good food.
in this house the only problem was the electricity..cause it was not Indefinitely .so from time to time the power went out . but that makes the whole thing different ...
after all this show action it was time to say good bye to the assend off end boys ....nearly 2 weeks with them was a great expirience and good fun ..nice boys ...and also the two helpers of them maja und wojcec (from poland ,the owner of the van)where such nice people, we really hope to see them soon again.and if you have the oportunity to see them playing live go and watch them .also the against me crew where just super nice and sweet people....a big thanx also to :josh from wintage records for booking the most stuff..gerli and lea for helping us so much with everything,to all the people who set up a show on this tour, gave us a place to stay or some food.and of course a big big thnx to all the old and new friends who sang danced moshed or screamed with us,on this tour.
