I'm very pleased to announce that I am on board to score John Lechago's new film, "Bio-Slime"  It is a horror/action piece that I can only describe as a very cool blend of "The Blob" and "The Thing".  Though clearly a romp, the story has a level of depth and heart that is hard to find in genre films these days.
I've read the script a couple of times and I've come to the conclusion that we are in for a very fun ride.  The film is currently in pre-production and shooting is scheduled to begin in August.  I'm not sure when scoring will commence, but my guess is that it will be mid/late Fall before I see a cut.
Update:  John delivered his locked edit this past week and all I have to say is; WOW!!  This film is everything I've come to expect from a John Lechago film and more.  Even in its current, rough form, it's extremely impressive.  The creature effects are particularly amazing.  "BioSlime" is easily one of the most fun films I've ever been given the job to score.
Kudos to John for once again raising the bar on indie Horror filmmakers everywhere!
Update x2:  "BioSlime" moves ever closer to completion and the film keeps getting more and more amazing.  This month, the promotional efforts for the film bein at Fangoria in Chicago March 6th to 8th at the Wydham O'hare.  Director John Lechago, Producer/Actor Vincent Bilancio, Voice-of-the-Beast Ron Fitzgerald, and Beast Victim Al Burke will be greeting fans and showing footage all weekend long.  If you're in the Chicago area it's an event you won't want to miss.
In honor of this, for the next couple of weeks, the music player on this page will be featuring preview cuts from the film's score - written by yours truely.
I will update more as events unfold for this film - and they are unfolding fast!
More to come...
