Sometimes we look at sin as just stealing, cheating, lying, things like that. We think of sin on relational terms. How, do you ask? Sin in relation to how it may hurt the people around us and as it hurts us. This is a great way to look at sin. This is because when you think of sin this way you make it personal. God is a personal God...one who seeks a personal relationship with each one of us. So it is only right we take the things that offend him personally.

Well like I noted earlier that we think of the general things when we think of sin but as it was noted in a recent bible study have we ever thought of "Time Management" as a sin. That maybe the way we manage our time could be affecting our relationship with an ever personal God. Sometimes we try our hardest not to forget daily plans, agendas, wants and we neglect an essential need. We Forget About God. (Dueteronomy 8) This is a Chapter expressing a heavy warning to not Forget about your maker.

Mariah Carey said in her song "Don't Forget About Us"

I'm just speaking from experience, Nothing can compare to your first true love
So I hope this will remind you, When it's for real, it's forever, So don't forget about us

Now picture that as words from the Lord to us his children. He speaking from experience because nothing compares to your first true love. That love he knows from experience, the love that put a sinless savior on the cross for our sin. Let that be a reminder. He didn't have to do it, we aren't the bosses we make ourselves out to be..let this remind us when its real its forever....he paid a debt that will forever be unpayable by any human effort but he offered his love that if we except it, it will be our forever. So he says to us his creation please don't forget about us...because he hasn't forgotten about you & me.

Sometimes we don't get it, that we belong with Christ. That every other relationship is meaningless if we aren't with our soulmate. How can we be so twisted to forget about the God we belong with....not by any power of our own but by his abundant grace and mercy. (Ephesians 2:13-16, Colossians 1:19,20) He paid a penalty to show us that he cared and do we act like we care or that we even want to be with our true lover. (Romans 5:8-11, 2 Corinthians 5:18,19 ) The proof is in his matchless word.

In Mariah Carey's Song "We Belong Together" it says this...

When you left I lost a part of me, It's still so hard to believe, Come back baby please cause, We belong together

Lets picture this as Christ pleding with us his people.....his lovers....God wants us...do we think God is not heartbroken when we continually turn away from him and reject his love no matter how "On Purpose" we think it is...though he knows what we think i believe he is still sorrowed by our disregard for his love.

HE'S SAYING, "LOOK MY CHILD, MY LOVE..... WHAT I DID FOR YOU ON THAT CROSS, I GAVE YOU A CHANCE TO BE IN LOVE WITH ME FOREVER...LIVE HAPPY FOREVER...HOW, OH HOW CAN YOU FORGET ABOUT US....CAN'T YOU SEE WE BELONG TOGETHER!"
