Current mood: sleepy
hello friends ,
i just couldn't believe that we are already in february 2007, talk about how fast the time passed us..well this might seem a bit late but we are hoping for the best of the year to come..for us and for every single one of you..
so what's happening in our lurking land so far..hmm..lemme see..we started our first gig in 2007 opening for Jens Lekman, the gig was organized by our dear friend Nazri and his wife Ain, Junk and Troubadours......you can check out this review from Think ..will post up some pictures soon
ps- though i don't really agree much on what the reviewer is trying to say to the other supporting acts..but i kinda agree with the expectation thingy with our performance.. in our defense, we are just trying something out of our system ..
..well we received a slight dissatisfaction remarks on our previous features in some of the local magazine..( interviews didn't do much justice, not enough features..bla bla..)..so this one for you o' dear concerned friends ..thanks to Juice magazine..we are featured in the february issue..well we had a lot of fun this time around....though there are some corrections here and there ( eg Jens Lekman gig was at Little Havana NOT at Zouk as mentioned, etc)... so grab a copy now ( just don't take things too seriously..it is purposely for your entertainment..hehe ) !
Talk about gigs , we have a few shows for you - we'll be supporting the Jakarta's trip hop Everybody Loves Irene ( check out our shows page or you can go to papakerma for more details), Singapore's Esplanade Outdoor Theatre in May and some other gigs with our dear friends in between ( will keep u posted). We would like to apologize to some of the gig/event organizer for not being able to make it on certain gigs. This is due to my tight personal schedule preparing things in order 'to ditch my bachelorhood' (i borrowed this line from Willy ) this coming July.
That's all for now..kinda sleepy ..ttyl!
