Yo, Just got back now from our first venture outside of Cork to Limerick from what was a kickass night I can most definetely tell you. The moving of the gigs from the basement of Baker's to the Precinct pub(attached to the general Baker's complex) was indeed a nice move and was kind of reminiscent of the old High Stool setup I thought. After some dudes with acoustic guitars came off we went on and plowed away for 40 minutes or so in what was sweltering bloody heat. There was much rubbing of chins and grinding off teeth. Once again we got off stage dripping bodily fluids containing mostly pure unadulterated adrenaline and tears. Then enjoyed the exit pursued by a bear lad's set who we must extend thanks to for gear usage and that. After that perused the various areas of Bakers catching up with all the old Limerick heads gradually getting more and more wankered as the night went on.
Would suggest going to that gourmet Fish and Chips shop across from the AIB on O'Connell St. Quality motha f***in shit on the both the palates of the drunkard and the non-drunkard. Anyway hopefully will get back to Limerick soon enough. Looking forward to this Wednesday with Giveamanakick in the Brog and if that wasn't enough we play with Sea Area Forecast, the almighty Adibishi Shank and Marvin's Revolt on Thursday in Fred's.
We have done arsey recordings of some of the new material whch we will stick up soon and will be of similar quality to those tunes already up and then we will go about beginning to properly record a 5 song ep so that we can finally claim some respectibility and all that. In the meanwhile you can be sure lots of life will happen and people across the globe will contnue to sleep and eat and produce childers,
Anyway what'll ya do, PUR
