November 5, 2009 - Thursday
Got up at 4 AM to work since Kaziel wouldn't let me sleep any longer. Made scones for hubby and kids, but Boo boycotted. He wanted his pancakes so while the scones baked, I made his fave and heated his apple cider. What did I get out of it? A cup of nonfat yogurt and half the banana. Oh well.

BTW a lot of folks have asked how I find time to cook. It comes from being a short order cook and caterer. Very few things I make are hard (there are some such as my Old English casserole that is time consuming or BBQ) but most from start to finish only take half an hour which is faster than take out. And a lot healthier. The hardest and longest part of the crepes I made last night was pulling the pastry out of the package. Seriously :)

Now it's back to work for me :)

Hugs!

Sherrilyn,

Does Boo ever request pancakes in the shape of his initials?  My mom used to make those all the time because my brother loved them.  I also used to get a lot of Mickey heads, because how hard is it to pour 3 circles close together?? lol.

Have a great day!

My daughter loves her pancakes too..  Pancakes and sausage.  You should hear the squeels she gives me when I put her in the highchair and I'm taking too long to put the food in front of her.
