yes and she knew she did. her attempts to back track were pathetic. as someone of mixed parentage who put up with similar treatment at school; sniping, accent mocking (though i didnt have one) and constantly being told i should go back to "where i belong" its horrible to watch, but watch i do,  perpetuating the whole drama.

Yeah and it was sickening to see her try and take it back.

The threat of racism, whether it's there or not, is what makes this unsettling. Jack may have or not called Shilpa a 'paki' but the fact no-one would be surprised either way.

It was reported in one a paper that a Channel 4 spokeswoman said that Jack had not used racist language, (ie Paki) which would not have been bleeped, but had called her a "c**t".

Phew -  that's okay then
