does the chat with Mr Gorman indicate the sidetracked Dexys Midnight Runners Book- Lets Make This Precious .... might now be imminent.

Ahh..ha! Thanks Kev !!   This broadcast sounds like it will be very interesting--I am curious to find out what other music stirs you...plus of course, you know I want to hear that fashion bit about Roxy Music...I hope the BBC 6 will post bits of this on their website so I can hear it!!  Good Luck DJ Rowland!

your a great DJ Kev .... theyll be snapping u up.

great under technical problems - and the singing along to tracks is something (since uv done it over the last two nights) that begs the question why not one single DJ has ever done this. it shows ur love for the trax u play .... i guess thats why DJs dont sing to their trax (playlistpower etc).

Was anyone kind enough to record these Kevin radio shows?  I'd love to have them on my ipod?  A dial up connection in Canada just is not cutting it for listening to the stream from the BBC...
If anyone has these recorded, PLEASE message me.

Thanks

Here's the other 2 shows:
15th Feb 2007
16th Feb 2007

Unfortunately the last song is missing from the 16th Feb show. There was a fault with 6Music's listen again feature. As I said above you need iTunes to play the files [or convert it to another format]

Has anybody got a full tracklisting?

R ;)

Since you mention Kevin's relationship with music over the past 4 decades, I thought this might be a place to ask when or if there was ever a day or moment Kevin realized how exceptional his voice was, and if this might be something he has written about. I guess this is the kind of question I could be made fun of for asking, but still I ask because I'm interested how genius works.

Has it been written about somewhere, a criticism or an analysis, what has gone into making Kevin Rowland's voice and music so beautiful because I find his performances from the net so mesmerizing. I don't buy over the net but I am going to start to look for his work in music stores.

Happiness - local chain book store had "searching for the young soul rebels," "20th Anniversary Enhanced, Remastered Edition," "Made in Holland" Having this body of work and the liner notes are especially helpful, an answering introduction for me. This is the only work of Kevin at the store but their computer is up to date about forthcoming work. I will look for more recordings in other stores but I'm so happy to have found this one. I'm in Northern California.
