Energee! auditions to take place at the Bucks Training Center on July 22 and 23

The Milwaukee Bucks Energee! Dance Team will hold open auditions at the Bucks Training Center on July 22 and 23. Registration for the initial tryouts begins at 6:30 p.m. on the 22nd while callbacks will be on July 23. Pre-registration is available at Bucks.com. Dancers must be 18 years of age or older by November 1, 2009 in order to tryout. More than 75 dancers auditioned for last year’s 20-member squad.  

There will also be three Energee! Audition Prep Classes for those who want to work on their dancing skills prior to auditions. The classes will be held at the Wisconsin Athletic Club (411 East Wisconsin Avenue) on the following days: Sunday, July 12 at 1 p.m., Wednesday, July 15 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, July 19 at 1 p.m.

Energee! returns for its 20th season performing at Bucks home games. The dancers also perform at numerous corporate, charitable and community events throughout the year.

Attire for the tryout is an athletic or tank top (form fitting), shorts or dance pants and dance or athletic shoes (no black soles). No pre-choreographed routines will be necessary. Candidates should be available for all Bucks home games and dance practices held two nights a week from August through June.
