A Chairde Gael!
How are ye all in Fuchsialand? Well it is busy here in the Fuchsia Dáil, working out ambassadorial missions to America and other ventures besides. Máirtín is over there at the moment see if you can catch him when he comes to your neck of the woods.
Headlines! WHAT ARE THE BOYOS UPTO? SUMMER FUCHSIA DATES UPDATE IRISH PHRASE MÁIRTÍN AND JIMMY CROWLEY ARE ON THE ROAD AGAIN WHAT ARE THE BOYOS UPTO? Well ladies and gentlemen le me inform you of the very exciting news happening here altogether.
Brian has won the lottery in Ireland which was a Roll-Over Saturday and he only heard the news while he was out in Africa on a tanning mission. If you don’t know Brian can be found midweek anywhere between the shop counter, ice-cream fridge and the coffee maker attaching lilac leads to Lotto machines the working for the Irish National Lottery so his name will not appear in any papers, he claims that is was a ’Quick-Pick’ and had no insight to what the number may be. Enjoy it while it lasts Brian. Next week he intended to buy Ballincollig town.
Eoin this wintertime invented a new system to write emails from his phone. He has been working with a new phone and computers company called Banana and wrote software that lets you write emails from your phone via voice recognition and Bluetooth. This lets one ring its email from a mobile/cell phone and write the message as you are on the move. He has nearly released the matching work that lets your phone read out the mail from you own inbox too! Wow, amazing. Eoin ’the box’ Verling is now fast becoming ’the square’ Verling. With his new income he is planning to build a 4-story castle in the middle of Enniskeane and Ballineen that will look down on both towns.
Mick found out on St. Patrick’s Day that seven of his students from Bandon won world titles in Flute at the latest Festival of Festivals in Hong Kong. An unmatched feat, so much so that an tUachtarán na hÉireann Mary Patricia McAleese, has called him up to Phoenix Park for tae and biscuits. Fair play Mick. We knew you had it in you, always.
Máirtín spent most of January, February and March in the southern hemisphere and made contact with the Irish Diaspora there and has set up a Storytelling University in Matamata, New Zealand with umbrella colleges in Broom, Australia and the Island of Nacula in Fiji. This is funded by the Rainbow Projects grant scheme run by Labhras who is a distant blood relation to Máirtín’s own storytelling teacher Larry back at home. He wishes to thank all who helped him out on his travels there. He was treated like a king. Also, while visiting some of the descendents of Ireland he was offered manys a pot of riches but refused knowing it was only fools Gold.
