Here's what I read in my inbox this afternoon (from a lady who always stays up on the latest "bi" news...)

"New research on bisexuality in women gets traction

"Lisa Diamond is about to publish Sexual Fluidity (due out February 15, 2008), a book containing her research on bisexuality in women. An interview with Diamond about her research appeared in (the) Boston Globe. She appears to have coined a new phrase, "person-based attraction" which seems to correspond to our knowlege of a subset of bi people who feel they are attracted to a person, rather than a gender."

Totally check out the article and let me know what you think. I would definitely like for her to see "FLUID" sometime. I'll keep you all posted.

yeah fluidity!

However, "person-based attraction" is a rather un-sexy term, don't you think? "PBA" sounds like a sandwich or a sports league.

And we know how we feel about "bi"
So....is there a better word to coin?
