Our next gig will be at FanFest on Friday, 8 Aug.  Mostly friends with some coworkers and curious neighbors.  This will be different in many ways.  First, we'll be graced with the presence of Aaron Mercado on guitar and keyboards.  Oh if Aaron would only move to either Springfield or St Louis.  Second, we'll be doing just six songs, only two of which we currently do.  FanFest is always a chance for us to do the obscure Project/post-Project stuff.  Third, we'll then do plenty of our normal stuff in the "Band Assisted" Karoake portion of the evening.  Most likely, we'll do some informal jamming and playing of material off of PoF the following night.

Why so long between gigs? We're having a helluva time getting a common weekend free.  Gina, Sandra and Scott went to see the Alan Parsons Live Project in Reno for one weekend, so that's shot.  This coming weekend, large chunks of the band is going to KC for the Live Project show while Mike and Li'anne head off to PA for Nearfest and some promotional work.  And then there's been regular "life" things that people have had to attend to.  Thus, no gig until FanFest.  Hopefully we'll get stuff on the schedule thereafter in Aug and Sep.
