The band plays at the Alan Parsons Project Fanfest each year.  Okay, it's technically been under the "Projectronics" moniker but this year, it was strictly all the members (to include Sara) and somebody who we'd want in the band in a heartbeat (Aaron Mercado) if he lived nearer than Mexico City.

We performed songs off of Eve, argueably most people's least fav Project album.  We've been doing "Damned If I Do" since the beginning and added Lucifer, If I Could Change Your Mind, Don't Hold Back, Your Won't Be There, You Lie Down With Dogs and Winding Me Up.  We also did "Silence and I" from the better known Eye In The Sky album.

Not everybody in the band is enamored of many of the studio versions of these songs but FanFest is typically a chance to goof around with stuff that would otherwise never see the light of day on stage.

And we surprised ourselves in that three of the songs, Lucifer, You Lie Down With Dogs and Don't Hold Back are surprisingly fun to play and work pretty well live.  As such, we'll be incorporating these three into our slowly increasing repetoire of live work.  Lucifer will be first, the others as we get the parts nailed down.

We're also looking to add two more originals into the set: Goodbye My Love and We Insist (Place de Greve Mix).  The live arrangement of the former is still very much under development and the latter we're hoping to add Gina on flute for portions of the underlying cello melody.

Toss in one more cover (Locomotive Breath, hey, we have Tull fans and a flute player, it's a natural fit) and we're looking at a 23 song, two hour set!  Someday.  Someplace.
