Robyn Ochs, a bisexual educator and author, is seeking submissions for Bi Women magazine. Robyn writes:

The next issue of Bi Women will be coming out in December. The theme of this issue will be "Children in Our Lives." I'd love to hear from bi parents, children of a bi parent, bi women who are considering becoming parents, bi women who have children in their lives (nieces, nephews, neighbors), bi teachers, etc. Your bisexual identity need not be a central them of your writing.

Poetry, letters to the editor, essays, commentary, film, theater, and book reviews, photos, cartoons, musings of all kinds are welcome. Writing on other topics is also welcome.

Submissions should be sent to biwomeneditor@gmail.com, and must be received by November 15th. Please let me know if you're planning to write something.

Robyn

Please direct all questions about the publication to Robyn's email, rather than replying to the BRC. Thanks!

I'd like to write something, but I'm not sure it would be welcome. It's not really this big thing, just a little something about being a bisexual mother and what I'd like to teach my child (and future children) about sexuality and other lifestyles. I'll probably do it.

Chastity: perhaps you could email Robyn and share your ideas with her, to see if what you have in mind would be appropriate for the magazine. We are glad that you are interested!

It's great that you are being so honest with your children. If you would like to tell your story, you can contact Robyn Ochs at biwomeneditor@gmail.com. I am not sure if she is still accepting submissions, but you can ask her. Happy Holidays!
