Yes, Robo IS in fact with the Msifits
ACTUALY (in all out irony!) Robo AND Greg Ginn are BOTH playing with The Misfits tour 05'! hahaha!

AS to "where did Robo go?"
Robo, after leaving Black Flag, moved back to Sotuh America. He worked with Jerry Only and Doyle at (something) Edge for a few years while Marky Ramone played drums for The Misfits until 2004 when he took over Markey's place on the throne.
I can pay witness that Robo is alive and well because while they played at Tremont Music Hall, Charlotte, NC this past  October, 2004, I hung out with the dude back stage before they went up. You should see that spiderweb tattoo on his shoulder! He's get'n old though. Age hasn't been good to him. He said "It's the UV rays down South." Yeah, sure Rob.

I can get you a SHIT load of info on Black Flag. One of my biggest hobbies is the studying history of Misfits, Black Flag and Ramones. You'd be surprised at the shit I know. blacklightsouth@yahoo.com

You can also visit Henry's website an buy one of his earlier novels about th travels with Black Flag. he even includes some alot of knowledge about the band before he joined them (cuz he got th job cuz he knew all the words when h jumped the stage in NYC back in 1981 cuz he was a bg buff on them!).

See ya. I could maybe help you with this site man. I'd be happy too.

Sorry! My bad...
They're planning another reunion of everyone in 2007 (for their 'would-be' 30th aniversary). The concert WILL BE RECORDED by the same people they rented thier speaker equipmen from which is still amazingly in business!
(ANYONE ONE NEEDS URLS, PLEASE MESSAGE MY PROFILE PAGE. THANKS)

Black Flag has only had 3 reunions. I forget which ones but Robo has been involved with 2 of them. They are planning another one for 1977 in which the "unnamed drummer" who recorded the "Nervous Breakdown" original track will be there also. In fact h has a MySpace page! I can't remember if I added him or not.
Please remember that Robo was only with Black Flag until 1983, when Henry told him that The Misfits were looking for a new drummer. Too bad The Misfits only lasted another year. Robo couldn't stand Glenn Danzig and quit, which pissed off Glenn and GLENN quit... So the departure of The Misfits (thenicly) is Robo's fault!!!

Brandon C and this guy are witnesses too! I hung out with the dude a eyar before and exactly a year later when they saw him!
ok. enough with the "Robo dead or alive?" stuff. Let's ask more interesting questions. Like... Henry had no tattoos wen he joined the band. WHERE were his first 2 tattoos and in which order? ALSO, did he have long hair or no hair? ALSO, during his first tour (or continuation of the tour he jumped on stage with), where was thier WROST concert held?
Does Greg prefer tube or transistor amps? What material was his primary guitar made of? And Can anyone name the FIRST drummer for Black Flag (who's not named on any of the albums by the way!!! he jumped off in 1977 during thier first year feeling they'd get no where!).
What is Henry's REAL last name? A.) Henry Rollins/GARFIELD (mother re-married) was born in Washington D.C. February 16, 1961.
I HAVE THE ANSWERS. Let's see how many of you are Black Flag buffs and who aren't.

Robo

"Robo joined The Misfits during the summer of 1982. He had been detained in England after touring with his former band Black Flag, and The Misfits provided him with a job when he got back. Robo's drumming is featured on the Earth A.D./Wolfs Blood LP and the Die, Die My Darling EP. He left the band in August 1983 because he couldn't tolerate Glenn any longer. Afterwards, Robo got married and worked for several years at Proedge with Jerry and Doyle. He later moved back to South America, but returned to the US in the mid-1990's. Robo is currently playing on The Misfits' M25 tour."

I just saw the Misfits last night with Dez and ROBO from Black Flag in the lineup. So, ROBO is not dead. Maybe one of the other drummers from Black Flag that replaced him died of an overdose. Not very sure. As far as Black Flag getting together, I don't see it happening because I know when Henry Rollins was in the process of making that Black Flag tribute album for WM3, Dez and some of the other members of Black Flag wanted nothing to do with the process of making the album or trying to group a reunion tour.

actually, during the WM3 tour fearuring henery, keith, and kira, there WAS infact a show billed as 'black flag'. it was greg and dez on guitars, a studio/audio bass track played through the house p.a. and mike v on vocals. i don't remember who was on drums, but from what 2 dear friends of mine who were in attendance that night had to say, it wasn't worth it. they even tried(with no avail) getting their money back.

The only tour I knew of recently ( a few years ago) was the benefit for the West Memphis Three. Kieth Morris, Rollins and the Flag rolled into Philadelphia and fuckin' destroyed the TLA! Be rad if they did it again.

id pay good money to see ginn, rollins, kira, and bill stevenson play a show. this was the best line up, and its moronic when people say how much better the old lineups were. as if the earliest , most scrappiest stuff is the best. to me this is THE lineup

OK, lemme add my whine to the growing list. I hope Henry changes his mind and goes on tour, with DOA opening, that would be a great show!! House of Blues in Chicago has had him there doing his 'spoken word' show, which I had to miss both that I'd heard about. Bring 'em back out and party!

There's a band called Black Flag playing at a club called Gleiss 22 in Münster, Germany on 21st November. Says that they are from the USA, and supported by the Phoenix Program (ex-The Dead/Duesenjaeger)

Don't know any more, line up, wind up, whatever.
