Add my Corrie ten Boom Tribute site

A few weeks ago I was unpacking a box that had been in storage for several years and came across some magazines that I had saved for more than 30 years. They were copies of The Hiding Place Magazine published by Corrie ten Boom's ministry Christians Incorporated during the 1970s through her death in 1983. I was inspired to put up a tribute site to her using material from the magazine, because I had seen that so many people have her listed as a "hero." I had searched myspace once to see if there were any sites about her life on myspace and had not found an active one.
I knew that in order to use anything from the magazine I would have to contact Christians Incorporated to get permission. But I couldn't find them on the internet. So I prayed if this was something the Lord wanted me to do, I would find the right person to ask to get permission. To make a long story short, within two weeks I had permission from the Corrie ten Boom House Foundation, which now owns the copyright, to use their material with attribution. So last week I put up the site. The url is www.myspace.com/corrietenboom It is on my top friends here.
I have been trying to go through my friends list here to send add requests to you, but I don't have a lot of time for that and many of you have settings that require me knowing your email or last name to send the add, so if you want to be a friend on the site, please send me an add. I will continue to try to send out add requests as I can and post bulletins about the site. Please feel free to repost any bulletins and spread the word about this new site to others. I am not really concerned about how many friends I have on the site, but just want everyone who has been blessed by Corrie ten Boom's writings and inspiring life to know about it. I also want to share her stories with those who have never heard of her, so that they too may be inspired.
Here is a brief history in case any of you reading this do not know who she was. Corrie ten Boom and her entire family were members of the Dutch resistance in the Netherlands during WWII. They were committed to helping persecuted people, both Jews and Christians escape. They were arrested and some members of the family were placed in concentration camps. Corrie was one of them. After the war she became a speaker and author, sharing her story and how her faith in Christ sustained her during those dark days. Hers is one of THE MOST inspiring stories of faith I have ever read! So please see my tribute site to find out more about her.
Some of you know that I recently took down my Dedicated Writer site because I didn't have time for two myspace pages. So you may be wondering why I put up another. Now I think the Lord led me to take that one down to make room in my life for this one. However, I will not send a lot of time on it now that I have it set up. Praying for my friends here is still my top Myspace priority. I plan to post something from the magazine on the blog once a month, but will not send out a lot of comments from that site. So if you are someone who deletes people who don't send comments, then don't bother to add it.
I hope to get back to posting something on this blog at least once a month soon.
