Stuck here due to the weather back home.It's sunny and 76 degrees while in the PApalachians is'ts 6 inches of snow.
We played form about 2000 folks and rocked thier socks off.
Vegas is strange.I don't gamble and I don't drink so I people watch.It's an interesting socialogical experiment.
I am extremely lucky to have this gig and be playing music with these guys.It's mind boggling how very blessed I am.
Being stuck one place when you really want to be some where else (home)really sucks.And I guess what makes it hrdedr to deal with is that there is absolutely nothing I can do about it ,it's completely out of my hands.
But I am rolling with the punches.Who can hold and control the world?It cannot be done.So I roll along and wait and watch.
It's sunday and right now I should at least have been at the Charlotte Douglas International airport hurrying through the airport on utr way to a sleepy ride back to Asheville,but as it stands our earliest flight is Tue morning at 7 30......tomorrow the condtions are supposed to change drastically(enough to maybe fly hopefully) and we could have to hurry to jump into the sky and sail back to the other mountains......if not I'll go for a early morning hike with Chris...
What DOES really stink is that I don't have my guitar with me and I wish I would have brought my equipment to record....I wouold be doing more than watching television and eating (good food at least).......I sure as hell hope we can get out of here tommorrow.......
