This here is a little number stirred-up by the incomparable Three Pages Five (sorry guys, if the name is incorrect). They played with us last week at the Picador and besides being one of the only "jazz" bands that's really done anything for me musically they did much for me in the way of expanding my mind. They opened their set with an amazing Radiohead cover that (sorry, I'm a bit hazing on the title, however it was from Kid A) drew from the darkness swimming beneath the universe… They brought with them a sound that fused darkness with dust…a clouding duende, tearing at my spine as I listened…and then as I wrote. So here you are…read it more than once, change the words…look beneath the surface…tear dn the words...

pop…bop…
don't stop
night shade boogie
take a dive
as you should be
as you were
inverse, reverse
flip the light
itch the wish
full of thought
time to demand still
nothing is what it dreams
still cant make me laugh
take a bath
dn your own path
oh some time
-you should look up
coming from all
dangles infinite
babys jiving on
the pains stiff
show your chops
feed lies
winning grin
record spin
you have more than me
eats the sky
ward breaks sound
jump the 'mu'
this shit is good
tough too sweet
heart felt bitter
beats off keeping
-sleep
off key
tearing
dn
words
