Hello Friends, Family, and Partners,
I've been on my own now for one month and have never been at more peace. It has not come with moments of question, moments of hesitation, moments of inadequacy, but as I have told so many, God is feeding me one week at a time. This walk of faith is God showing me He is taking care of me, feeding the sparrow and clothing the lily.
This weekend alone is a prime example. It began Friday morning with a very loosely structured schedule of "singing all day" at the Country Festival in Aurora, KY. For someone who basically has a 75 minute "church program" of music in place the concept of singing ALL DAY looked like an ant moving a mountain. That's not all, the same schedule was in place for Saturday; not one but TWO days of all day singing.
My hosts for the weekend, Keith and Tina Plumlee and Edith Cobb handled the details. Sunday morning began with an early Sunday school class at the incredible Hearland Baptist Church in Paducah, KY. After sharing a song with the class, I enjoyed a terrific service and message by dynamic pastor Nathan Joyce. We dined in luxury all weekend long but Sunday afternoon's "Tour of Italy" should have sent me into a pasta coma before the full evening concert at Park Avenue Baptist Church in Paducah.
This week is filled with preparing for more great things ahead. I have a new business office phone number listed above. 615.873.0482 is the new business number and the advantage of it is quite amazing. It will forward to my home number and my mobile number when I'm on the road so I won't miss another important call as I travel the nation. Soon I will have a new website that will have all the information you need to spread the word about this ministry. There will be music downloads, a ministry store, and updated news items and schedule of events. I hope to make it a place you will want to visit often.
Thank you for all your support, prayers, and continued interest in what God has called me to do. These are exciting times and I look forward to sharing them with you.
Be Blessed, Indeed!
