This year the local newspaper here, called SMP, initiated a contest where the best band of our region were to be decided. Various types of genres was represented and it included bands from 1960 until today, non active and still active. Over 150 bands was mentioned but then a jury decided 32 of them to be in the actual competition. It was a process where the readers of SMP should send in text messages and vote for their favourite(s).

Mark:Black was one of the bands the jury selected to be in the voting process and last week we got the result. We ended up as number 12! We are extremely happy for this and since the opponents were big acts like The Ark, Melody Club, Bullet and The Creeps we can't be anything else than honoured.
