Where are you based?
- I live in the South East, but usually travel to London for the photo shoots. If you live beyond London, we may still be able to work something out travel-wise, contact me!
Where does a shoot take place?
- I usually hire the large studio at BBO Studios in Barnes, London. I will ask you for a few possible dates, as obviously the date of our shoot is dependant on studio availabilty.
How much does it cost?
- I currently charge £110 for an hour studio session at BBO. If you would like a 2 hour shoot to fit more looks in, there is an extra charge of £20.
- The price for on location photography (events, weddings etc) is calculated once I know the details. Also, shoots taking place in an alternative studio and needing more time etc will have to be calculated.
What is the student discount?
- Students get 25% off (total cost for 1 hour £90). Ideal for dance / drama students wanting headshots and dance photos for their portfolios.
Why you?
- I never take a boring photo - unless you really want one. I am a perfectionist and being a dancer, I know what you want your photos to look like. I promise all clients - dancers or not - that your photos will be exciting, creative, colourful and original.
Do I have to be a dancer?
- I specialise in dance photography, as it is a passion of mine. But I am trained in all genres of photography, including good experience in fashion / comemrecial photography.
What about make up / costume?
- On dance shoots, to save time, I usually ask that the dancer arrives with make up and hair already done, to save time. If you require your make up to be done for you, an extra cost applies.
What happens after the shoot?
- I takes 2 - 3 weeks for me to fully edit the photos. I will ask you if there are any photos you want edited especially on the day, but I also choose the majority of the photos for editing, but you can trust me. You can choose as many as you want (ans so will I), but I usually end up providing approx. 20 photos, sometimes more.
When the photos are ready, I load them onto a CD and send them. You get the high resoltion full sized and re-sized and watermarked versions (for web use).
What equipment do you use?
- I use Nikon cameras, have my own studio lighting and edit using Photoshop CS4.
Any paperwork?
- You will receive an invoice and will need to sign a model release form.
