In the Footsteps of Paul by Ken Duncan is a good coffee table book. As many have said before there is not much writing to this book but the photographs that Mr. Duncan has take are breath taking. It make me want to travel to the land of Paul and visit the sites. It brings to life some of the major places in Paul's life and ministry. You can easily imagine in your mind's eye Paul walking down the roads, sailing into the harbors, preaching the gospel to the crowds in the different city and stadiums.
It would be a great tool for any Sunday school or Bible teacher to help flesh out the Life of Paul and the beginnings of the Early Church. The photographs just pop or jump off the page... I would love to see a DVD video of these places. I know other wish there was more text to this book but that was not the scope of this book - it was to bring to life the places that Paul had gone.
In conclusion, I would recommend this book to any Sunday school teacher, Bible teacher, or anyone else who wants to see where Paul and other apostles had travelled as the Early Church began the fulfillment of The Great Commission of Jesus Christ. (Acts 1:8)
